Costa Rican President Meets with Battle

People's Political Consultative Conference reported that on December 6, Costa Rican President Alvarado met in San Jose with a delegation from the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference led by Vice-President of the Chinese National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Bartel.

Bartel conveyed President Xi Jinping's cordial greetings and best wishes to Alvarado. Bartel said that since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Colombia 12 years ago, the relations between the two countries have made great progress, and China is willing to take the opportunity of co-construction of the "Belt and Road" with Colombia to promote practical cooperation in various fields. Bartle introduced Xi Jinping's thoughts on socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, and introduced the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China and the 70th anniversary of the founding of the CPPCC.

Alvarado highly values the friendly relations between the two countries and congratulates the 70th anniversary of the founding of New China. He is willing to further deepen the pragmatic cooperation in various fields between the two sides, firmly adhere to the "one China" policy, and push forward the strategic partnership between the two countries.

Bartel also held talks with Costa Rican President Benavides and others.

Ren Qingjia, deputy director of the CPPCC Nationalities and Religions Committee, envoy Tang Heng in Costa Rica, Shu Qiming, deputy secretary general of the CPPCC, standing members of the CPPCC National Committee, and vice chairman of the Yunnan Provincial Committee of the CPPCC attended the above activities.
