One of the most impressive lessons in his studies was Yang Xiangxian's "Eyewash Class": in Qufu in the early 1980s, it is difficult to see the works of famous artists. Since teaching at Capital Normal University in 2006, Wang Ke has brought students to Tibet, Qinghai, Shaanxi, Yunnan, Henan, Gansu and other places every year to encourage them to create works that are close to real life. After graduating from university, Wang Ke taught in Weifang for 18 years. Wang Ke said, "I know exactly what our generation lacks, so I have been making up lessons, but after the best age for studying, it is naturally more difficult, but I still have some gains."

In 1993, Wang Ke went to Beijing Academy of Fine Arts for further studies under Professor Wang Mingming. He rented a penthouse built by himself at a farmer's house in Shuizizi (now Chaoyang Tuanjiehu Subdistrict). The house had no windows on all sides, only a single door opening inward, and the door had been deformed. There was no heating in the winter, and the electric mattress he took from his home was short-circuited the same day. The remaining water in the cup would form ice the next day.

That year, conditions were difficult, but Wang Ke felt very fulfilled. Together with his classmate Qi Rubin, he designed the reclining Buddha in Sanshui, Guangdong, and drew the renderings. He also drew more than 30 Buddhist biographies, line drawing artwork of the Buddhist Bunsen story, and more than 100 ink paintings.

Recalling all kinds, Wang Ke wanted to tell his father who had died for many years that he worked very hard and did not live up to his expectations. "I've loved painting since I was young, and it was related to my father teaching me to read and write Chinese characters before I was in school."

Wang Ke, who has reached the age of Hua Jia, admits that realistic painters have a hurdle. When energy, physical strength, and eyesight can not keep up, art has started to go downhill.
